Where mailcontact differs is shape, not size. Each project gets one inbox that receives both its form submissions and messages sent to its own real email address, and the Discord ping that Web3Forms puts behind a paid plan is part of the free tier here.

Web3Forms is an access-key form backend: request a key with your email, put it in a hidden field, and submissions get forwarded to you. Checked on 17 July 2026, the free plan covers 250 submissions a month with unlimited forms and domains, a 30-day submission history, a dashboard, and CSV export. File uploads, webhooks, the submissions API, Google Sheets, Slack, Discord and Telegram all sit on paid plans, as do reCAPTCHA v3 and Turnstile.
Worth flagging if you're researching them: their pricing is localised through Paddle, so the price you see depends on where you are, and their documentation FAQ still claims they don't store submissions at all, which their current pricing page contradicts. The pricing page is the live surface. It is a well-built product with an unusually good free offer.

It stores them. Their pricing page states submissions are kept for 30 days on free plans and a year on pro, with CSV export, and there's a dashboard at app.web3forms.com. Their documentation FAQ still says they store nothing, but that page is years old and the pricing page is the current surface. Checked on 17 July 2026.
Yes, with unlimited forms and unlimited domains, both marked fair use. That is the most generous free tier among the form backends we've compared, and if free volume is your deciding factor you should take it.
Volume is not the only axis. Web3Forms is forms-only, so a public contact address is a separate problem you solve elsewhere. Their Discord, Slack and Telegram integrations are paid. And submissions roll off after 30 days on free. If none of that bites, their free tier is a good deal and you should stay.
It's slightly less mechanical than most. Web3Forms takes an access_key in a hidden input and posts to a shared endpoint; mailcontact gives each project its own endpoint URL, so you swap the action and delete the hidden key field. Field names carry over unchanged.
