Formcarry is a well-priced form backend and its paid entry point is the cheapest in this category: $5 a month, billed annually, for 500 submissions. If you have one form on one site and you're happy to pay for the year up front, that's a good deal and worth taking.
The friction shows up before that. The free tier is one form and 50 submissions a month, so a second project means a second decision. mailcontact is organised the other way round: the project is the unit, each one gets an inbox fed by both a form endpoint and its own real email address, with pings in Discord, Slack, email, or a webhook.

Starter is $5/month for 500 submissions but is annual-only: there's no monthly-billed option for it, so the cheapest month-to-month plan is Basic at $19/month for 2,000 submissions.
It's a focused, forms-only product with sensible pricing and no pretension to be more than that. Two things to know: its Discord integration runs through Zapier rather than natively, and its pricing page's structured data lists a $49 plan that doesn't exist on the page, which is presumably why third-party comparisons of Formcarry disagree with each other.

No, despite File Upload appearing in the free column's feature list: it's marked with a cross, not a tick, and their plan config sets the free file allowance to zero. It's an easy detail to get backwards, and some comparison pages have. Uploads start on paid plans. Checked on 17 July 2026.
Yes, if you pay for the year. The $5 Starter plan is annual-only, with no monthly-billed equivalent offered. If you want to pay month to month, the cheapest plan is Basic at $19/month for 2,000 submissions. Both are fair prices; it's just worth knowing which one you're actually choosing.
No. Both are plain HTML form endpoints, so migrating is changing one action URL. Your markup, styling and field names stay the same. One note: mailcontact's configurable post-submit redirect is coming with the launch, so submit via fetch for now if you want visitors to stay on your page.
