1. Operator and scope
mailcontact is provided by MAXKEN, a French limited liability company (SARL) with share capital of €300, registered under 821 612 611 RCS Lille Métropole, VAT number FR42821612611. Its registered office is Bureau 3, 34 place du Général de Gaulle, 59800 Lille, France. Contact: Show email address.
This page sets out the commercial position of the service on the date shown above. The terms of use govern accounts and features, and the privacy policy covers personal data.
Business customers purchase for their professional activity; consumers purchase outside that activity. Consumer protections below apply whenever the law gives you that status. Creating an account for a side project does not by itself remove those rights.
2. Plans and message allowances
Free includes 1 project and 50 messages per monthly quota period, with email notifications. Pro includes 10 projects and 1,000 messages; Plus includes 50 projects and 10,000 messages. Slack, Discord and webhook notifications, project email addresses, replies, inbox sharing and MCP access require Pro or Plus. A browser, internet connection and verified account are required.
Received messages and replies share one allowance across all projects in your workspace. Notifications and account emails do not consume it. Included allowances renew monthly on the paid activation date, including with annual subscriptions. Free uses the account activation date. If that anniversary day does not exist, renewal falls on the last day of that month, calculated in UTC. Unused included messages do not carry over. Deleting messages or upgrading does not reset usage. New messages and replies are refused at the limit; existing messages remain available within your plan’s retention period. Free keeps messages for 30 days after receipt; Pro and Plus have no automatic message expiry while paid access is active.
Creating an account, joining the waitlist or accepting complimentary access does not create a payment obligation. Free and invited access never automatically become paid subscriptions. Verified account holders can purchase the available paid offers from their billing page.
3. Prices, orders and payment
Prices are in euros and include applicable taxes (TTC): Pro costs €9 per month or €90 per year, and Plus costs €29 per month or €290 per year. Monthly subscriptions are charged in advance for one month; annual subscriptions are charged in one payment for one year. Checkout displays the total and billing frequency before you confirm an order.
Pro and Plus users can buy a one-time pack of 1,000 additional messages for €5 TTC. Each pack is valid for 30 days after confirmed payment. Unused credits remain available across monthly quota resets until their own expiry, then expire without carryover. Included messages are consumed first, then the pack expiring soonest. A pack does not renew automatically or add projects. Pack capacity is available only while your account has a paid plan.
Payments, subscriptions, invoices and the customer portal are handled by Stripe. The payment methods available for your order appear at checkout. Access or pack credits activate after confirmed payment. A checkout redirect alone does not confirm payment. Failed renewals can suspend paid features until payment is resolved; contact us if you need help.
Review these conditions and the order summary before paying. A subscription renews for the selected monthly or annual period until cancelled. No paid order is created merely by viewing prices or opening checkout. Keep your payment confirmation and invoice.
Check and correct the selected plan, billing period and billing details before the final payment step. The paid service is activated after confirmed payment; if activation fails or is delayed, contact Show email address with your payment reference. You can save or print these conditions for your records. This agreement does not require waiving a statutory withdrawal right to purchase.
4. Subscription changes and cancellation
Use “Manage subscription & invoices” on the Plans & billing page to change your plan, update payment details, download invoices or cancel. Cancellation stops renewal at the end of the paid period; your paid plan remains available until then. The portal shows any prorated charge before a plan change.
After paid access ends, your existing message history remains available for 30 days from the effective end date, not the cancellation request. After that, Free’s rolling 30-day retention applies: older messages and their linked replies are automatically deleted. Resubscribing before deletion keeps your history.
Ordinary cancellation does not itself refund an elapsed or ongoing billing period. This does not limit withdrawal rights, legal guarantees or any refund required by law. For a disputed charge, contact Show email address with its date and reference. Never send full card details.
You may stop using Free or invited access without a subscription cancellation charge. Contact us to request account closure, and recover the messages you need first.
Cancelling renewal and deleting messages or projects are different actions. Deleting a project does not stop subscription billing. If you request full account closure, identify any active subscription so it can be closed with the account.
5. Consumer withdrawal and guarantees
For a distance service purchase as a consumer, you generally have 14 days from conclusion of the contract to notify us of withdrawal, without giving a reason. Use Withdraw from a purchase, send an unambiguous statement to Show email address or write to MAXKEN, Bureau 3, 34 place du Général de Gaulle, 59800 Lille, France, before the deadline. The online function records your declaration and queues a dated email acknowledgement. Simply cancelling renewal in the portal is different from requesting withdrawal.
You may use this form: “To MAXKEN, Bureau 3, 34 place du Général de Gaulle, 59800 Lille, France, Show email address: I notify you of my withdrawal from the contract for the following service: [plan or pack]. Ordered on: [date]. Customer name: [name]. Customer address: [address]. Date: [date]. Signature (only for a paper form): [signature].”
For a valid consumer withdrawal, we reimburse the amounts due without undue delay and no later than 14 days after being informed, using the original payment method unless you expressly agree otherwise, without a reimbursement fee. Starting to use a paid inbox or using message-pack capacity does not by itself waive this right. Any deduction for early performance requires the express request and information required by law; acceptance of general terms alone is not that request.
Mandatory consumer protections and legal guarantees for digital services remain available, including applicable remedies for lack of conformity. Contact us about a service defect or to exercise a remedy. These conditions do not exclude any statutory guarantee or restrict a refund or other right that cannot lawfully be limited.
The immediate-activation checkbox records your express request to start during the withdrawal period. If you withdraw after this requested start, a proportionate amount for service actually provided may be due, based on the total agreed price and service supplied up to notice. The right is lost early only once the service is fully performed with the required prior express agreement and acknowledgement. Opening an ongoing subscription does not fully perform it.
6. Digital-service conformity and updates
We may make changes needed for security, legal requirements, compatibility or service improvements without charging extra for the change itself. We inform consumers clearly. A change negatively affecting access or use beyond a minor extent triggers the notice, durable-medium information and termination rights required by law. A substantial withdrawal of paid features is not authorised merely by describing the service as evolving.
Informations consommateurs — France
Contract information for French consumers
The service is provided by MAXKEN, a French limited liability company (SARL) with share capital of €300, registered under number 821 612 611 RCS Lille Métropole, VAT number FR42821612611, whose registered office is at Bureau 3, 34 place du Général de Gaulle, 59800 Lille, France. Contact and guarantees: Show email address.
MailContact lets you receive contact form messages in a separate inbox for each project. Pro and Plus add an @mailcontact.cc address per project, replies, shared access and the integrations described in the offer. A recent browser, an internet connection and a verified account are required. You remain responsible for connection costs. An external assistant must support MCP; any subscription it requires is not included. Notifications also depend on the receiving services.
Free includes 1 project and 50 messages per monthly quota period, with email notifications. Pro includes 10 projects and 1,000 messages for 9 EUR including tax per month or 90 EUR including tax per year. Plus includes 50 projects and 10,000 messages for 29 EUR including tax per month or 290 EUR including tax per year. Received messages and replies share this quota; notifications do not consume it. Included quotas renew each month on the subscription activation date, including for annual plans; Free uses the account activation date. If that day does not exist, renewal takes place on the last day of the month, in UTC. Unused included quota does not carry over. Changing plans does not restore messages already used.
The subscription is paid in advance for one month or one year and automatically renews for the same period until cancelled. Check the offer, billing frequency and total before confirming payment on Stripe. Paid access is activated after payment confirmation. A pack, available only on Pro and Plus, adds 1,000 messages for 5 EUR including tax, usable for 30 days after payment confirmation, including beyond a monthly quota renewal. Included messages are used first, followed by the pack expiring soonest. Unused credits expire after 30 days; the pack does not renew.
You can stop renewal from Plans & billing, through the Stripe management portal. You keep the plan until the end of the paid period. Cancelling renewal does not, by itself, constitute withdrawal or a refund request.
Free keeps messages for 30 days after receipt. Pro and Plus do not apply automatic expiry while the plan is active. After paid access effectively ends, existing history is protected for 30 days; after that, messages older than 30 days and their linked replies may be deleted. Save any information you need before this deadline. Backups are not a customer-accessible archive.
Right of withdrawal and immediate activation
As a consumer, you generally have 14 days from conclusion of the contract to withdraw without giving a reason. Use the function Withdraw from a purchase, or send a clear declaration by email to Show email address or by post to MAXKEN, Bureau 3, 34 place du Général de Gaulle, 59800 Lille, France. The acknowledgement records the declaration and its date and time; it does not determine the applicable refund.
Optional form: “To MAXKEN, Bureau 3, 34 place du Général de Gaulle, 59800 Lille, France, Show email address : I hereby notify you of my withdrawal from the contract concerning [offer and purchase reference], concluded on [date]. Name: […]. Address: […]. Email: […]. Date: […]. Signature only if sent on paper.”
The immediate activation checkbox records your express request to start before the period ends. Activation does not itself remove your right: if you withdraw, a proportionate amount for the service provided up to your declaration may be due, calculated using the total agreed price and the service actually provided. The right is lost before 14 days only once the service has been fully performed with your express agreement and prior acknowledgement of this consequence. An ongoing subscription is not fully performed merely by opening it. For activation after the period, contact us before purchasing.
For a valid withdrawal, the refund due is made without undue delay and no later than 14 days after receipt of your declaration, using the original payment method unless expressly agreed otherwise, without refund fees. Legal guarantees and other refunds required by law remain applicable.
Legal guarantee of conformity — continuous supply
The contractual period is one month for monthly Pro or Plus, one year for annual Pro or Plus, or 30 days after payment confirmation for a pack. For a subscription, the guarantee also applies to each renewed period. The following box reproduces the model in the annex to Article D. 211-4 of the French Consumer Code, adapted to these periods.
Send complaints and guarantee requests to Show email address or to the registered office indicated above. French law applies subject to mandatory consumer protections; the competent courts are those determined by law. This French consumer information supplements the commercial terms and does not limit any mandatory rights.
7. Complaints and disputes
Send complaints to Show email address or write to MAXKEN at its registered office. Include the relevant account and a description of the issue so we can seek an amicable solution.
French law applies, subject to mandatory protections applicable to consumers in their country of residence. The competent courts are determined by applicable law. These conditions do not require a consumer to bring proceedings exclusively in Lille or waive access to a competent authority.
8. Versions and commercial changes
The date above identifies this version. New prices or subscription conditions do not create a retroactive payment obligation or increase a prepaid period’s price. The terms presented when an order is placed govern that order, subject to applicable law.
A proposed price change for a future renewal must be communicated in advance, with the opportunity to cancel before it takes effect. Any consent or renewal reminder required by law remains necessary. We cannot remove acquired rights by publishing a new version.
